Delicate flakes of Portuguese Fleur de Sel, hand-harvested in the Castro Marim Salt Marsh Nature Reserve in the Algarve, are combined with fragrant Timut berries from the Himalayas of Nepal.
Related to Sichuan pepper, Timut pepper is prized for its extraordinary aroma. Expect distinctive notes reminiscent of pink grapefruit and yuzu, balanced by subtle woody and floral flavours. Paired with delicate fleur de sel crystals, it creates a sophisticated seasoning that adds fragrance, flavour and a gentle citrus-like character to finished dishes.

Portuguese Fleur de Sel Meets Himalayan Timut

Salmarim's fleur de sel is traditionally harvested by hand from the salt pans of Castro Marim, where delicate salt crystals form naturally on the surface of the water.
The addition of aromatic Timut berries transforms this traditional Portuguese finishing salt into something wonderfully unexpected.
Rather than simply making food salty, a small pinch adds layers of citrus, floral and subtly peppery flavour.
